Past Events - Succession Planning
On July 21, 2011, the Community Foundation and Illinois National Bank hosted a free seminar called Succession Planning for the Family Farm or Business. This event covered issues important to farmers and business owners which may arise when passing down assets to the next generation, tax issues, protecting land and leaving bequests to charity.

The event speaker was Mr. Vaughn Henry. Vaughn is a farm management and estate planning consultant. Vaughn’s unique background in agriculture and charitable estate planning have gained him a nationally recognized reputation in farm succession planning and planned giving.
