One Hope United - $7,500 grant to support the Foster Grandparent Program, which offers senior citizens financial assistance for serving as mentors for youth with special needs.

 

Prairie Art Alliance - $2,500 grant to conduct creative art classes for seniors that improve the quality of life through visual expression.

 

Senior Services of Central Illinois, Inc. - $20,000 grant to fulfill emergency senior requests, provide meals to seniors in need, and ensure the physical wellness of the seniors in our community.

 

Springfield Municipal Opera Association (The Muni) - $3,000 grant will allow seniors to attend shows when they are no longer able to drive and or may not be able to afford the cost of the ticket and transportation.

 

Springfield Park District - $2,500 grant to purchase program supplies to encourage continued growth in participation levels in pickleball programming.
